Homestead Cabinet Design is owned and operated by Raymond Glick, who has been in the cabinet industry for over 20 years with experience in designing, building, finishing and installing custom cabinets. Raymond's background includes working in a high-end cabinet shop for years where he gained most of his experience.
In 2018, I quit my job at the cabinet shop I had been working for and started my own business in refinishing and refacing cabinetry. I don't have employees, but I do team up with other professional contractors who build cabinets for me, spray cabinet doors, and help with cabinet installations as this is often a 2 man job.
My business is small and I don't have a showroom. But I do bring samples to your house when you're ready for a consultation.

It's rare these days to work with one person from start to finish on a job like this, but Raymond came out for the initial consult, then the final measurement, & then came back and did the install. Owner does all consultations, measurements, and installations.
You will feel that the cabinets are new with a factory finish. A very smooth and ever-so-slightly glossy finish that will stand up over time. We use industrial-grade 2K finishes that are water-resistant, chip-resistant, and scratch-resistant.
We utilize top-of-the-line Blum hinges and drawer slides, renowned in the industry for their smooth soft-close action and easy adjustability. With nearly zero VOCs, there's no concern about off-gassing solvents in your home.

Help with layout and design decisions. Came out to the house a number of times to go over options. Included with the service comes a 1 hour consult with an interior designer who helped select colors.
