If I could give six stars I would! Raymond was neat, meticulous, professional and timely. My kitchen cabinets were pretty beat up after 15 years. We worked with Raymond and Homestead Cabinet Design to refresh our kitchen cabinetry, and he did a wonderful job! He helped us on the front end of the project to make the decision to replace the cabinet doors and drawers but keep the existing cabinet boxes since they were well built, in good shape, and served our needs. We ended up deciding to modify one cabinet and replace two others due to some decisions we made, and he fit this into the program quite well. Raymond did a wonderful job throughout the entire project. He scheduled the work to accommodate the sequence of the other trades, he was extremely professional, and his work is top quality. Homestead Cabinet Design did a fantastic job updating my kitchen cabinets. My cabinets were fundamentally solid but cosmetically old and worn looking. In addition to updating the cabinets, I wanted to reconfigure a couple of the existing cabinets to make them more useful. I also needed a floor-to-ceiling cabinet replaced with one that could hold a new wall oven I planned to add. Raymond was able to accommodate all of my cabinetry requirements.

What a fabulous experience we had working with Raymond and his team at Homestead Cabinet Design! Our 20 year old kitchen was badly in need of a facelift. We consulted with Raymond, originally thinking of repainting our cabinets as we had little knowledge of what else was possible. Raymond met with us several times to understand our desires, explore what was possible, and create an amazing design involving custom cabinets with light rail molding and crown molding, a modern beautiful kitchen island, and wonderful cabinet features like soft close doors, rollout drawers, and hideaways. Homestead did an AMAZING job with our kitchen cabinets! We needed brand new custom upper cabinets and lower cabinet refacing. Everything came out beautiful, better than expected.

It's rare these days to work with one person from start to finish on a job like this, but Raymond came out for the initial consult, then the final measurement, & then came back and did the install. To have the same person handling all aspects of the project from start to finish was seamless. There were zero surprises & no problems. This is a great example of how working with a small business can provide you with a better overall experience than the alternatives when the small business owner works hard and cares about the result as much as you do. I did get quotes from other, larger companies, and they came in more expensive for a lower quality product.

Raymond painted my cabinets in the kitchen and in three bathrooms. My kitchen is open to my living room and dining room. Raymond perfectly color matched the Benjamin Moore color that I requested. Now the doors have a beautiful factory finish. Everything painted on the cabinet boxes was done meticulously and the kitchen harmonizes beautifully with the living and dining rooms. Raymond kept to his promised schedule, his agreed to budget, and was always a pleasure to work with when I had questions or special requests that needed to be addressed. Homestead Cabinet Design does very professional work. You will feel that the cabinets are new with a factory finish. A very smooth and ever-so-slightly glossy finish that feels like it will stand up over time. Raymond created a barrier for the work and uses an exhaust fan so that it minimizes the effects to the rest of the house. He is polite and careful. He stayed with his estimate so no surprises on price, which is much less than new cabinets and so much more professional than some companies that do ‘refacing.’ Raymond earned every penny he charged- the prep (thorough degreasing and sanding), along with all of the coats of spray painting is a lot of work and nothing that I could tackle or pull off with this kind of end product. He was willing to do a difficult Island with many little drawers and cupboards and unique hardware. Be prepared to go out to eat and get takeout for 5 days which isn’t all bad and you do start to realize how attached you are to your kitchen, but we are so happy with the results.

Raymond did a wonderful job freshening up our kitchen cabinets. The original paint job was over 20 years old and really needed a refresh. Raymond was meticulous in every way and I don’t exaggerate when I say the job he did was perfect. All the scratches, and marks were sanded away and everything was put back better than before. Amazing! I am pleasantly amazed at the type of paint quality and craftsman ship . I feel the finish and paint is better than the manufacturer cabinets. You can not tell that it's painted. The best part is that the paint has no smell after few hours. Raymond painted over polyurethane dark cherry to Chantilly lace and it came out great!
